Coblands Garden Village

Coblands Nurseries were founded in 1963 growing a wide range of shrubs, herbaceous and trees in the ‘coblands’ of Kent. This we have continued to do, providing a service dedicated to the trade customer. With the acquisition of the Retail Plant Centre at Coblands Garden Village (previously known as Ladds Garden Village), this wealth of knowledge and expertise is now being made available to the general public to experience.

We aim to provide a wide range of competitively priced plants throughout the year for you to browse and purchase. Our aim is to supply the majority of the plants from our own nurseries, although to offer the range we are able to use our extensive contacts within the industry to fill any gaps.

What makes us different to most other garden centres is that we are concentrating on plants and those products necessary to create your ideal garden, such as tools, chemicals and pots. We do not want to get distracted by stocking the likes of giftware and furniture, although if these interest you there are companies on the same site who can fulfil this need.

This is what we hope will become the first of many Retail Plant centres. Dedicated to servicing the gardening customer, who find it difficult to locate what they want in ‘traditional garden centres’ most of which are retail leisure centres that also stock gardening products.
